TRYT is a cryptocurrency with a physical equivalent. For every TRYT generated, the same value of Turkish lira is added to the company’s vaults. LiraT (TRYT) aims to make the Turkish lira more accessible to everyone and facilitate Turkish lira transactions.
How does LiraT (TRYT) Work?
LiraT (TRYT), which is backed by the Turkish lira, is built on the Avalanche (AVAX) blockchain. For each TRYT generated, the same value of Turkish lira is added to the company’s vaults. Investors can store TRYT tokens in Avalanche-compatible cryptocurrency wallets.
A smart contract was created to maintain the supply-demand balance between TRYT and the Turkish lira. When TRYT is generated, the same value of Turkish lira is automatically added to the company’s vaults by this smart contract.
When the amount of Turkish lira in the company’s vault decreases, GRAMS tokens in the equivalent value are burned by the smart contract. Thus, the 1:1 ratio between the TRYT token and the Turkish lira in the company’s vault is always maintained. This ensures that the TRYT token is not affected by sudden price fluctuations on cryptocurrency exchanges.
